Brunei sprinters Muhammad Aslam and Haji Zulkhairi reached the men's 100m final at the inaugural SEA Deaf Games in Kuala Lumpur. Aslam finished fifth with a time of 12.47 seconds, while Zulkhairi placed seventh. Malaysia swept the podium. Brunei also had Amiruddin bin Haji Mohd Zain compete in the 1500m event.
