A 53-member Brunei contingent, comprising 38 athletes and 15 officials, will participate in the 11th BIMPNT-EAGA Friendship Games in Puerto Princesa, Philippines from December 1st to 5th. The event aims to foster friendship and cooperation among member nations. Brunei will compete in six sports: swimming, badminton, karate, athletics, pencak silat, and sepak takraw. Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad handed over the national flag to Chef de Mission Pengiran Haji Mohamed Asran bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud during a ceremony at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) on November 26th. Brunei has a history of success in the games, winning 16 golds, 9 silvers, and 10 bronzes in the previous edition held in Brunei in 2018.
