Annual rainfall is increasing by 110 mm every decade, while air temperature rises by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the same period. Extreme weather events like heavy rain and high temperatures are also becoming more frequent. To address these challenges, BDMD has launched a new Doppler Weather Surveillance Radar system to improve weather forecasting accuracy and issue timely warnings.
