This is the exquisite sungkai with great views and posh ambience, giving you a good excuse to dress up and enjoy quality dinner together! The Empire Brunei Sungkai Buffet offers mouth watering salad stations including International popular salads! We gave our thumbs up for their salads, and I myself had two plates of them! I especially love their sambal and keropok selections! The sambals showcased also local favourites in line with Brunei Gastonomy Festival 2024! This simple combination of crunch and flavour, is best enjoyed with their salads. For the mains, I am impressed with their quality and range of cuisines that is not usually seen in other sungkai buffets. I especially love their prune beef which is slow cooked beef stew till very tender! Be sure to check out their lamb tagine and silky smooth chicken which is very moist! Their live stations were very popular and the beef sliders won me over! The patties were freshly grilled to ensure maximum freshness! Their slow roasted lamb served with their in house Indian style sauces also won us over! For desserts, you’ll be spoiled for choice with a good selection of cakes, puddings and tarts, as well as wholesome bubur cha cha and moist chocolate cake (best enjoyed with ice cream). Kids will love their ice cream which also featured two specially created local flavours for Brunei Gastronomy Festival! Specially crafted refreshing drinks will be sent to your tables and you also have option for hot tea or coffee! Prayer rooms are conveniently located on the same floor of the lobby.
