Dont want to burst your bubble but O&G sector has a limited quota in taking in interns and they're not wasting that space on business students. Even engineering students are in dog eat dog mode when fighting for an internship spot.
But good news is there's plenty of other opportunities in other industries

Sadly as far as I'm aware, unless you have orang dalam, it's hard to get DY/internship for engineers let alone business student. Even i-ready program gives you hands on/worker like training but never guarantee you job because they are always full. I suggest going for banks like Maybank or standard chartered , that way you have more valuable insights and connections than say BIBD
