Fourteen victims from five households affected by a fire in Kampong Bolkiah 'A' received financial aid from Brunei's Department of Zakat, Waqaf and Baitulmal Management. Each household received BND200, with two children receiving an additional BND100 for school expenses. The funds came from the Asnaf Fakir Miskin Zakat Fund and were distributed by the Acting Secretary of MUIB during a ceremony at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The victims are currently staying in housing provided by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
