Lyna Mohamad His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam conferred state decorations on 23 individuals during an Audience and Investiture Ceremony at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana of Istana Nurul Iman yesterday. Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam also graced the ceremony held in conjunction with His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration. Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Wakeel; His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah; His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Bini Hajah Faizah binti Dato Haji Nasir; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah. His Majesty first conferred the Most Exalted Order of Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang First Class (DPKT) that gives the recipient the title of ‘Dato Paduka Seri’ to General Dato Paduka Seri Mohamad Andika Perkasa; General Tan Sri Dato Paduka Seri Haji Affendi bin Buang and Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan. The Most Gallant Order of Pahlawan Negara Brunei First Class (PSPNB) which carries the title ‘Dato Seri Pahlawan’ were conferred on Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin; Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif and Joint Force Commander of RBAF Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin. Six recipients were conferred the Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei First Class (PSNB) carrying the title ‘Dato Seri Setia’ namely: Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman; Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad. The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei First Class (SPMB) which carries the title ‘Dato Seri Paduka’ was bestowed upon six recipients: Attorney General Dato Seri Paduka Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Mohamed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohamed Yunos; Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu; Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid; Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan. The Most Eminent Order of Islam Brunei Second Class (DSSUB) was conferred on Assistant State Mufti (‘Ifta) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Dennie bin Haji Abdullah. The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Second Class (DPMB) which carries the title ‘Datin Paduka’ was conferred on two recipients: Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei Datin Paduka Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman and Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau Datin Paduka Hajah Anifa Rafiza binti Haji Abdul Ghani. The Most Eminent Order of Islam Brunei Third Class (SSUB) was conferred on Syariah High Court Judge Haji Mohd Bahrin bin Haji Alias. Meanwhile, the Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei Third Class (SNB) was conferred on Deputy Permanent Secretary (Security, Enforcement and Law) at the Prime Minister’s Office Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Mohammed Taib.
